In coordination with the Receiving and Inspection Unit, participate in the receipt and inspection of items delivered from vendors or transfer from other missions. Supervise the receipt/deliveries of all stock from/to sectors and the accuracy of the delivery against database. Based on the request from sectors or other missions prepare the shipment, get all necessary information to prepare and submit Cargo Movement Requests (CMRs) to MOVCON Section for transfer of materials from one location to another. Monitor the assets and materials in the Integrated Warehouse. Review approved requests for all commodities and issue them in accordance with approved quantities, appropriate scales of issue, mission priorities and stock availability. Make sure that all transfers orders (TOs) and issues of items are done through UMOJA. Maintain inventory accuracy for stock on hand through the assigned Storekeeper. Coordinate the conduct of cycle counts and bring any noted discrepancies to the attention of my supervisor. Stablish and maintain appropriate warehouse facilities for commodities, control all items subject to storage expiration and assist operating a commodity disposal system in accordance with UN regulations. Ensure safe working environment in the warehouse. Support the initiation of write-off actions and coordinate with Service Support Sections/Claims/BOS team.

•Assist in oversight and management of the section's Administrative issues and preparation the section's plans. •Assist in maintaining up to date staffing tables and information as directed. •Assist in preparing & processing monthly attendances for all MOVCON staff, submit and file in admin file system. • Receive and submit of a variety of documents to the different UNAMID offices Example Budget & Finance, vender payment document, pity cash, ICs contracts and contact UNAMID senior Staff offices DMS and SAO for different memos matters. •Checks availability of conference material and other logistic details prior to start of meetings. •Performs a wide range of office support and administrative functions. •Responds or drafts responses to routine correspondence and other communications; uses standard software document processing packages to produce a wide variety of large, complex documents and reports. •Monitors processes and schedules related to the unit’s/sections output, products, tasks, etc. •Provides secretarial, administrative and logistics support to meetings boards, committees, conferences, etc. •Assists in the preparation of presentation materials using appropriate technology/software •Maintains calendar/schedules; monitors change and communicates relevant information to appropriate staff inside and outside the immediate work unit/section.
