Position : Exports Sales Manager - Personal Care

Client:                                Leading Personal Care company based in India


Location:                           Sudan, North Africa

Experience:                      7+ years in Middle East & African Countries in the above category


PS:   Candidate having Sales & Business Development experience in the Personal Care category, in Middle East & African countries, need only apply for the post.


  • Export sales functions, Distributor Management & New Business Development for the company’s Distribution Department for Middle East and entire African countries.
  • Category management, achieve annual business targets and increase business volumes.
  • Responsible for sales forecast, sales analysis and other business activities.
  • Provide business support for planning marketing program, channel support, and sales support.
  • Interact with sales, product development, customer service, to actualize the business plan and targets.
  • Define and deliver a product-marketing plan that combines an in-depth understanding of the market, competitive and consumer for a group of products.

    • Driving business through distributors and sales managers.
    • Activating new markets, launching new brands and products in existing markets.
    • Ensure sustainable and profitable growth of business in line with the company aspirations.
    • Liaising between the company and distributors for up-to-date condition on pricing and latest product release launches.
    • Actively identify and pursue new opportunities to develop business, launch new brands and products.
    • Develop and implement strategies, tactics to maintain and develop overall performance in all markets.
    • Conducting sales progress and review meeting with team, distribution partners on a monthly basis.
    • Identify challenges to business growth in each market and propose effective strategies to resolve them to ensure consistent sales increment in each market.
    • Develop and apply key performance indicators for distribution partners and team members to measure progress.
    • Develop all objectives and goals for each market sales and net revenue.
    • Improve the capability and effectiveness of the team for delivering business results and keep them motivated
    • Responsible for achievement of sales targets within budgeted costs with high focus on profitability.
    • To strengthen and sustain brand equity and category visibility.
    • Liaison with Marketing department for effective communication development and with media agency for efficient media planning.
    • Analyse trends and do competitive benchmarking to facilitate strategy development and planning.
    • Regular market visits, analyse Retail Audit data, track competitive product offering, communication and activations.
    • Ensure superior visibility and availability of all brands across all channels.
